Try out some of those cool, small fandoms whydontcha?

I am nowhere NEAR finished reading - barely started - but I've been bookmarking like crazy, and while I've been doing that I've read a few of the shorter fics in some of the fandoms I like the looks of in between the constant round of eating that is Christmas at my house.

I got TWO fics! That makes me do a rather goofy, happy flaily dance. And both are awesome!

My 12 recs are here in Sarah Monette - Doctrine of Labyrinths (MINE!!! ALL MINE!), Aliens (particularly awesome), Red Dwarf, The Shawshank Redemption, Alias Smith and Jones, Some Like it Hot (genius!), Ocean's Eleven, National Treasure (yes, I know the first movie was AWFUL, but the second was OK, and the characters are cute. <3 Riley.), Sherlock Holmes, Breakfast Club (*hearts*).

Heh. It's probably a shitty thing to say but I'm always so glad to hear that other people are not perfectly time-managed either. (*cough...spending most of mytime in Berlin in libraries because I was too late for inter-library-loan*)

Still enjoyed the holidays. I did not feel very christmasy but in any case, it's great to spend time with teh family. :)
