You've no idea the contribution halfshellvenus made to this. She pretty much wrote every other word and I can't thank her enough.

Despite massive commitments in fandom and life, she put in so much time and her efforts were enormous and very much appreciated.

Also, you may recognize the prologue scene from a fic I wrote years ago (under a pseudonym, actually), although I imagine not!... but it to Jared and Jensen and spn_j2_bigbang to get it developed into a proper idea, so a big thanks to the organizers as always.

Perhaps I should also mention - the title is a quote from 'The Rock', and there are two other movie quotes in there, from 'Aliens' and 'Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid'. Kudos if you spot them.

And how nice to know that something you wrote earlier actually provided enough inspiration for its own Big Bang! That's a lot of legs for a single idea. :D
