If you were Chad Michael Murray and noticed your good friend Jared Padalecki was living in domestic bliss with one Jensen Ackles, and yet they spent all their time eating cereal on the couch and watching cartoons in their underwear and NOT having sex, and you maybe got into a bet with Megan Padalecki, Mackenzie Ackles and Chris Kane about who could get them together, what would your matchmaking-strategy be?

Heh. I can totally see the poor guy trying to just point out the many assets of Mr. Ackles to Jared who would then presume that Chad himself is crushing on Jensen and who would then - awesome friend that he is - step back to give them a chance but warn Chad to better be serious about Jensen or else. And because they're manly men who are men that would completely suck at just talking to you know, realise what's really going on. And then there could be that auction and Jared would expect Chad to make a bid who, of course, wouldn't because (a) straight, thank you very much and (b) Jared + Jensen = love. So in the nick of time, aka when Jensen is throwing around wildly desperate looks to have somebody rescue him from that blond, mid-fifty woman with the very scary fingernails, Jared would step in to be a great friend. But Jared and Jensen would probably still not buy a clue, so in the end Chad would scream and flail and yes. Jared and Jensen would lock themselves into that trailer.

Because I have no discipline for longer fanfics and no grasp at all on writing the boys. Nah, fanfic is not for me anymore. I mean, writing it. I'll happily provide you with plot bunnies and pep talks, though. Like for that Star Trek J2 AU. Yes. ;D
