I dunno, Mike, it's not like getting a D in school...

I love The Lost Boys.

I need some Michael/Sam in my life. I wonder if such a thing exists? Slashiest brothers in existence? You decide!

I'm procrastinating because A - I need to work, B - I need to clean the house and C - OH MY GOD I need to finish my yuletide fic. HATE IT. DDDD:

I've been trying to decide who my first slash pairing was, and I've got it down to two, I think.

I think Danny and Willie from The Great Escape was the first time I really started thinking in a slashy way, but Bodie and Doyle were the first couple I started thinking about sexually in a slashy way. How about you?

EDIT: I cannot BELIEVE I forgot Hector and Paris and Michael and Lincoln! Sunday morning slowness must be to blame!

Gaping, terrible holes in my memory... must be my age! ;)

The Bolt brothers were totally doing it, no matter how many Brides they shipped in...

Especially Jason and Jeremy.

You're so right! I like to think of a happy threesome there because, of course, David Soul also was in one of my all-time favourite pairings... he clearly just can't help himself! ;)

My first incest pairing though was Lucius/Draco from HP, since it is my first, and still main, fandom.

Yes, of course! I enjoyed some L/D in my time, as well. Jason Isaacs is, after all, fabulous in every conceivable way! ;)

Seth and Richie is a very interesting pair. Creepy, twisted and kind of sick. But interesting :)

I know, right?!

My favourite thing about that movie. (Along with George Clooney's tatoos ;)

I think I remember a piece in the Michael/Sam from the Lost Boys movie pairing in the Canadian Shack (http://www.trickster.org/speranza/ShackedUp.html) project.

Krycek/Mulder was the first slash I read. I'd been reading Mulder/Scully way back when and came across some K/M slash listed on someone's fiction page along with their MSR. But I think I was subsconsciously shipping Bodie/Doyle for years before that. :D

[identity profile] jasmasson.livejournal.com 2010-12-20 08:33 pm (UTC)(link)
There was! That was brilliant- I loved it (I always loved Te's stuff).

X Files was the second fandom I wrote in (after Highlander), actually - both M/K and M/Sk. But they weren't the first pairings I shipped - I was shipping LONG before I discovered the internet was doing it too... and that zines had been doing it forever!

I'm sure Bodie and Doyle were the first I where I distinctly remember the thought - well, they're in love, aren't they! - and everything became clear. Then I think Star Trek reruns (Kirk/Spock)... and then the floodgsates opened! ;)

Michael/Lincoln and Hector/Paris totally needed a mention!

Some people think Don/Charlie are slashy. And the two dudes on Heroes.

I'll nominate Michael/GOB too, though I'm afraid it's very one-sided. But never dull! :D

[identity profile] jasmasson.livejournal.com 2010-12-20 08:36 pm (UTC)(link)
I cannot believe I forgot them! Michael/Linc is one of my favourite pairings in fandom, and I wrote Hector/Paris! WHAT was I thinking?

Ahhh! Michael/GOB. Good thinking! It's an, uh, interesting relationship, for sure! ;)

[identity profile] halfshellvenus.livejournal.com 2010-12-20 10:12 pm (UTC)(link)
It's an, uh, interesting relationship, for sure! ;)

It sure is!

"Ah, Michael-- I'm amazing. I could run this company with one hand tied behind my back. In fact, let's try it. Here-- tie me up."

"The company is a lot more complicated than that, Gob. Wait, I can't reach. You're leaning. Still leaning! Mmph!"

Whoo-hoo! *flees*

There is some really good Michael/Sam stuff that was written by, hmm, was it Audrey Lemon? And The Te. I wonder if I can find it.

Oh yes, here (http://teland.com/lb.html) it is. Hope it's as good as I remember it being, ages ago.
